I’ve always been an empathetic, emotionally sensitive person, and I naturally became someone people came to for support and understanding. Growing up and going through my own experiences really influenced how I understand emotional pain, healing, and the importance of having a safe space where you can just be yourself without judgment.
That’s what led me into counseling. I’ve always been drawn to people, emotions, and understanding what we carry internally. Over time, I realized I wanted to turn that into a career where I could sit with people in their hardest or proudest moments and help them feel supported, heard, and less alone.
I’m interested in working with people who may be experiencing grief, trauma, substance use, domestic violence, sexual abuse recovery, emotional overwhelm, career uncertainty, and life transitions. I also have an interest in anxiety, stress, self-esteem, and identity development. I like incorporating a more holistic approach when it fits, including mindfulness, creativity, music, journaling, and self-awareness work.
I also am an empath and have recently become interested in working with other empaths or spiritually sensitive individuals. Through both my personal experiences and training, I’ve learned how powerful it is to feel truly seen and supported by another person.
My goal is to help people feel less alone and to support them in finding clarity, confidence, and healing in their own time. Outside of counseling, you can usually find me listening to music, keeping up with Philadelphia sports, spending time with my furbabies and loved ones, watching movies, or doing something for self-care.
