I firmly hold the belief that all three aspects—the mind, the body, and the soul—are interconnected and interdependent. It is my understanding that these components influence each other in a web of intricate relationships, irrespective of which one initiates the process. By adopting a holistic approach to healthcare that addresses the entire person, rather than focusing solely on isolated symptoms, we can achieve a harmonious balance between the body, mind, and soul, leading to overall wellness.
After experiencing relief from my chronic pain through Myofascial Release, I felt a calling to use my spiritual and healing abilities to help others both physically and spiritually. I became a Pennsylvania Licensed Massage Therapist after graduating from Cortiva Institute Massage Therapy School in 2015. I also achieved recognition as an Intermediate Myofascial Release Therapist, having trained directly with the founder, John F. Barnes. In 2017, my only child, Morgan, tragically passed away from a heroin overdose after being sober for four months. This devastating loss has only strengthened my resolve to help those struggling with addiction. As a result, I obtained a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. In addition to owning and running my own business to treat the mind, the body, and the soul, I work part-time at a group home for teenage boys. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Developmental Psychology. Obtaining my PhD my goal is to avoid misdiagnosis of Bi-Polar, Schizophrenia, Night Terrors, Sleep Apnea, ADHD, and Cognitive dysfunction. The reason this can happen is because the person may still have the ability to see, to hear, and be influenced by spirits.
Why I Became a Mental Health Therapist:
After Morgan's death, I struggled to find meaning in my life. I was angry and felt alone, as I still could see and talk to him. Traditional therapy didn't seem like the right fit for me, given my unique spiritual connection. As I pursued my mental health degree, I began working with teenagers at a group home, many of whom faced similar struggles to those my son had. This experience made me realize that my calling was to help kids and individuals with spiritual abilities and diverse diagnoses, such as ADHD, Bipolar, schizophrenia, night terrors, or DID. I aim to expand the mental health profession to provide support for people of all ages with these symptoms and diagnoses.
Why I Became a Massage Therapist Specializing in Myofascial Release:
I had been dealing with chronic knee pain in both knees since 1991 when I was 16 years old. Over the years, doctors performed X-rays, and MRIs, and scoped the knees to figure out the issue. It always seemed to be a little arthritis, and the solution was to take pain medication when needed. However, I disliked taking pain meds because of how they made me feel. I tried cortisone shots, and rooster comb injections, and found some relief with Euflexxa injections, but the pain always returned. In 2008, my orthopedic told me to wait until I was 50 or 60 years old to have my knees replaced and to simply endure the pain in the meantime. Discouraged, I gave up on seeking further treatment and relied on ibuprofen, ice, and rest.
In 2012, I woke up with excruciating ankle pain and couldn't put any weight on it. A new orthopedic suggested it was just a sprain, despite my certainty that I hadn't injured it that way. After three months in a boot that did not help, I was sent to physical therapy, where I received myofascial release treatment. The therapists knew that my ankle and knee pain were linked to issues in my lower back, hip alignment, and posture, which were causing pulls and creating pain points throughout my body.
For the first time, I felt like someone understood what was wrong with me. After treatments and a rigorous exercise program, I no longer live with chronic pain. I occasionally experience flare-ups, but I am now aware of why they occur and can self-treat to alleviate the pulls within my fascia system.
Why I Became a Shaman – Spiritual Healer:
Since 2008, I have been communicating messages from the spiritual side. I am recognized as a skilled spiritual channel, medium, and a negative spirit evictor, officially labeled as a Shaman. The channel through which the spirit(s) communicate depends on their energy levels. High energy levels allow for detailed facial features and direct thought dialogue, while low and medium energy levels result in images and the ability to feel their pains or the pain of the living.
I also have extensive experience in training individuals to control their intuitive abilities. Ignoring these abilities can lead to mysterious and undiagnosed illnesses and night terrors. The spiritual side recognizes individuals with these abilities as potential communicators and may attempt to communicate through them, causing physical reactions such as stress, tension, and fatigue.
I was compelled to embrace my intuitive abilities due to fear. After purchasing my home in 2006, I noticed unsettling changes. Night terrors plagued me, and I constantly lived in fear for two years. During this time, I experienced physical touches, saw shadows, heard footsteps and loud noises, felt watched, and had objects disappear and reappear in a room I avoided. It took me two years to realize that there was a solution to this situation.
In 2008, my life changed when a medium came to my home for a group reading. She explained that I have the gift to communicate with the other side, and the spirits gather here because they are waiting to speak through me. As she spoke these words, all of my paranormal experiences made sense, and I felt like the weight on my shoulders lessened.
I would love to say that I immediately took her advice to learn to control my abilities, but I didn't. I had doubts that I had the gift to communicate. After a few months had passed, the activity progressed and I started to have random medical issues. I went to various doctors to find the cause of the medical problems, but all of the tests were negative or inconclusive. Frustrated and not sure what to do, my thoughts circled back to the ability that I had been ignoring. With nothing left to lose, I finally contacted the medium and started my journey to control my intuitive gift from God.
Since embracing my ability, I am no longer afraid of anything; I do not suffer from mystery health issues and night terrors. I am grateful for this gift and I am at peace and one with the physical and spiritual world.
